When at the
Mamertine Prison in Rome, the lady said that both Peter and Paul were
imprisoned there for nine months, but it was hard to tell what was Church
legend and what was really fact. I was
unaware that Paul and Peter were imprisoned at the same time, and that doesn’t
sound right, because they didn’t travel together. But this will bear more research.
