Someone Mentioned the Draft
(in Late June 2019 on the Whispers of War with Iran)
& here we are,
praying again that there will be no draft,
because it's not our children we want to die,
always someone else's children,
not ours, no,
& we do not see that each child is
our child, all
children are our
children,
& none of them should float away
on an ill wind.
