In the United Lounge
waiting for our flight to El Salvador - 

all the Americans 
on their laptops
updating their spreadsheets,

or speaking loudly on their phones
about sales meetings
about shipments
about how Robert really 
dropped the ball with
this customer or
that customer,

or their conversations over the chair armrests
about how they run their team:
"I take them out for fun, sure,
but they gotta hit their numbers first.
I mean, you gotta do the work
that pays for the fun, right?"
