What the Trickster especially enjoys about April Fool's Day is that it is a way for his marks to get a little closer to his method of thinking: that is, hurt those who hurt you, but make it so that they all laugh about it. Write it off like it's all in good fun.
These humans: they admire the Trickster. They admire his resolve, his devil-may-care attitude, and his fortitude. Never let a chance slip by! ... that's the Trickster's motto.
The Trickster smiles. April is the Cruelest month, yes indeed. And the cruelty can even be spread out over the rest of the year, and all the years beyond ...
