Just finished watching Jeckyll, on the BBC
How was it?
Brilliant! The only thing about it is I kept expecting the Torchwood team to come breaking in any minute.
Don't they just work with aliens?
Yeah, you're right. S'pose so. But this was some class A sci-fi, nontheless. With a bit of gothic horror thrown in. They tied it back to the book and such, and had swtiches in loyalty, surprise twists, good people turning bad, and a bad guy turning not so bad.
Sci-fi at its best, then?
Absolutely. You've got to check it out. It's only six episodes. The wife and I were just going to watch one before knocking off to bed, but we got so hooked we just kept going to each episode after next. Didn't get to sleep until three a.m.
