Overheard at Table 1: Studies in Black and White

 




  
 
 
The top photo I took one of my last winters in Tulsa OK.   It has a date stamp of Sunday March 27, 2011, but it may have been from the year before.  The magical thing about a Tulsa winter is that everything turns black and white ... shades of grey.   All color bleeds away, from the sky, from the air, from the trees, even from the ground.  On this photo, I then filtered it even more to try to make it look like a Japanese painting.  Then I filtered it out even further to look like a pencil sketch.
