American Official: The Administration wants you to step up patrols on your border with Guatemala. You gotta stop the migrants coming in.
Mexican Official: We are already doing everything we can. You seem to think we have more resources than we do.
American Official: Look, we know it's tough. So, if you were to, say, accidentally on purpose ... kill a few of the border crossers during the course of your patrols, well, we would look the other way.
Mexican Official: We already DO that and you already DO look the other way!
American Official: OK, fine ... how about we look the other way and drop some huge bags of cash into your bank accounts as well?
Mexican Official: NOW you're talking!
